I listened to the very nice and touching interview of Jasvir Kaur Rababan on Surkhab TV.
In this interview she talks about the demands of Sikh Pathis (priests) and how Sikhi of Guru Nanak has been twisted & misused to exploit the masses. Pls see below the video and make your own judgements :
So, after talking with family & friends, we would like to propose: Niman Sewa. The term Niman Sewa was proposed by Santokh Singh Sidhu from UK.
Niman Sewa: This service will be provided by volunteers who will perform Path ( ਪਾਠ ) and Ardas ( ਅਰਦਾਸ ) at the house of all those who request it. By providing this service, the volunteers will help all families in need of the hour.
Organisation: We encourage all volunteers to collect the names of fellow Sikhs volunteers in every locality, town, city all over the world especially outside Punjab and make a contact list. Please send us the one contact name who can then help the Sikhs locally.
