Script title – Sikhs and Covid 19

Length of final video:     2 to 5 minutes

Scene:   Gurdwara indoors, Gurdwara outdoors and Car Park

Characters:

Smart Sikh – Friendly, Aware, Intelligent, Diligent
Unaware Sikh – Unaware, Casual, Attitude, Careless

Gurdwara:

All Corona Virus and hygiene awareness posters including

Langar Hall posters – Ask a Sevadar for plates

Sanitizing hands:

Does not sanitize his hands

Gurdwara premises:

Entry door handles: Touches Entry door handles

Shoe deposit: Removes and deposits his shoes

Washing hands – Washes hands without soap and without washing the tap handle

Wipes his hands with cloth towel

Parna: zoom on head scarves basket/container

Handrails on the steps to the main Hall: Uses support of handrails

Main Hall door handles: Opens doors with using his hands

Main Donation box: Touches his hands on the donation box

Matha Tek: Both hands flat on the carpet and face including forehead and nose touch the carpet and kisses the carpet surface.

With the same hands without being washed Parsaad is taken directly on the parm of the hands and consumed.

Ragi/Kirtan Jatha donations:

Chore Sahib: Kisses the Chore Sahib and does Chore Seva

Hazura: Kisses the Hazura

Ceiling fans: Show the ceiling fan on full power blowing corona

Parshad serving: Parshad being served with hand

Sitting and/or getting up: Using support of our hands on the floor to sit and get up

Toilets / Washroom:

Nishan Sahib matha tek: Matha Tek and kisses the Nishan Sahib

Smart Sikh:

Car park:

Sanitizing hands: Properly sanitizes his hands

Gurdwara premises:

Entry door handles: Touches Entry door handles

Shoe deposit: Removes and deposits his shoes

Washing hands Washes hands properly with soap and washes handle
Wipes his hands with blow dry / with his own fresh handkerchief

Parna: Show the basket of Parna but uses his own handkerchief

Handrails on the steps to the main Hall: Does not use support of handrails unnecessarily

Main Hall door handles: Opens doors with using his elbows

Main Donation box: Does not touch his hands on the donation box

Matha Tek: Bows his head instead of touching the carpet to Matha Tek / or Gurdwara staff uses a fresh paper to place before the Matha Tek

Parsaad is taken on a piece of paper napkin instead of directly on the hand

Ragi/Kirtan Jatha donations:

Chore Sahib: Does not kiss Chore Sahib but does Chore Seva or preferably a new clean Chore is provided by the gurdwara

Parshad serving: Parshad being served with gloves or with a serving spoon

Sitting and/or getting up: Avoids using support of hands on the floor to sit and get up

Toilets / Washroom:

Exiting the Gurdwara:

Washes hands before exiting
